WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

When you visit newhorizonsmusic.org, personal identifiable information is not collected without your knowledge. Anonymous information is collected, such as time and length of your visit, the pages visited, the referral site, and name of your internet service provider and browser. This information is used to measure site activity and develop improvements to our website and your user experience.

There are also several opportunities for members and website visitors to provide non-sensitive personal information in order to build a relationship with NHIMA. This information may be collected through forms, surveys, meeting registrations, and purchases. If you choose to share any personal information, we may store and use it for NHIMA marketing purposes. NHIMA will not sell your personal information. If you wish to be removed from our contact database, please update your profile under the Members Only tab, select “Update Profile.”

NHIMA employs various methods to protect your personal information. Submitted information is transferred using industry standard encryption. NHIMA’s leadership and other designated administrative users have access to your personal information for the purpose of managing the organization. Financial information, including credit card numbers, is collected and transferred, but not stored within the website.

E-MAIL PRIVACY:

NHIMA contacts its members by e-mail. You will have the option to opt out of further e-mail messages. A valid e-mail address is required to receive the electronic version of the newsletter.

While serving, group contact persons agree to have their name, e-mail address,  and group affiliation published on NHIMA’s website in the “Members Only” section regardless of preferences as outlined above.

DO WE USE COOKIES?

The NHIMA website uses cookies, small files saved to your web browser, in order to improve your user experience. Cookies can be disabled within your browser. Cookies may be used to measure website activity and to customize the website to your preferences. NEW HORIZONS NEWS AND SOCIAL MEDIA PRIVACY:

Members agree to allow their image(s) and basic personal information (name, group affiliation, camp or event attendance) to be published in the New Horizons newsletter and on NHIMA's social media sites.  Objections can be forwarded through our Contact Us page.
