NHIMA Music Camp in Rochester, NY

The Eastman Rochester New Horizons organization is announcing its second NHIMA Band Camp.
The band camp will be held from June 6 through June 11, 2027 at the Nazareth University Campus in Rochester, NY. As with our initial camp offering, there will be an Advanced Band, an Intermediate Band, a String Orchestra, and a Choir group.
The Music Director will be M. David Shemancik (Dave) and the Camp Co-Directors will be Carmen Longobardi and Laura Shemancik.
We had a wonderful turnout for the 2025 camp, and hope to exceed the participation and offerings in 2027 (see short video here). We will be bringing back the Krazy Firemen German Band for another exciting and fun-filled German Night, which was an extremely popular evening event.
