A NHIMA Group Membership is separate from an Individual NHIMA Membership.
The cost remains $25(USD) per year.
NHIMA Group Membership includes:
- Your group’s up-to-date details on the NHIMA website;
- Inclusion on our interactive Find a Group Map on our Find a Group Page;
- Resources to enhance development and growth of your New Horizons group;
- Collaboration among the approximately 180 groups worldwide;
- Access to discounts on sheet music, music accessories and repairs offered by our business members;
- Assistance in starting new groups and helping develop new ideas;
- Professional Development sessions for group directors and conductors;
- Complimentary individual NHIMA memberships for directors/instructors of currently registered groups.
Promote Your Group
Every member group is listed on the website by Region, State/Province and City. When a prospective musician is looking for a group to participate in, they can go to the Find a Group and find the group that is closest to them. This helps you promote your group and build your membership.
Connect with Other Groups
Each group’s web listing provides contact information for the respective group. So when you are planning an event and would like to include other groups, NHIMA can facilitate that communication. There are nearly 180 New Horizons groups located throughout the United States, Canada and internationally.
